Graduate
Research Assistantships
Graduate students who have been accepted by the College of Forest
Resources, have the opportunity to apply for Research Assistantships
and work collaboratively with faculty members and research staff
in conjunction with the Center for International Trade in Forest
Products (CINTRAFOR). CINTRAFOR's mission is to provide timely and
useful information relating to forest products marketing, forest
management, public policy, and international trade. CINTRAFOR works
in partnership with companies and governments on various production
and trade issues. The center promotes many collaborative projects
and participates in the Consortium for Research on Renewable Industrial
Materials, a consortium of researchers dedicated to understanding
environmental performance through the life cycle of renewable wood
materials.
