Jack Lutz, Resource Economist, James W. Sewall Co., Old Town, ME 

 

Jack Lutz has spent the last 15 years studying and working in the timberland investment industry.  Before joining James W. Sewall Company in 1998 he spent four years as a forest economist with the Hancock Timber Resource Group.  His career includes four years as a forest economics consultant, five years in forest economics research and nine years teaching forestry, business and economics at the University of New Hampshire, and five years as a corporate planning analyst and controller with a major forest products firm.  On the leading edge of institutional forest investment analysis, Dr. Lutz is editor of Sewall's Timberland Report.
