Jack Lutz has spent the last 15 years studying and working in the timberland investment industry. Before joining James W. Sewall Company in 1998 he spent four years as a forest economist with the Hancock Timber Resource Group. His career includes four years as a forest economics consultant, five years in forest economics research and nine years teaching forestry, business and economics at the University of New Hampshire, and five years as a corporate planning analyst and controller with a major forest products firm.
