Kevin Latner, Senior Attaché, FAS, US Embassy, Tokyo

Kevin Latner has been at the US Embassy in Tokyo since 2000. Mr. Latner was raised in California, where his family owned a hardwood lumber company. Before graduating from the University of California, Davis, he spent 4 years building and remodeling homes. Mr. Latner joined USDA’s Foreign Agricultural Service in 1996. Prior to being stationed in Japan, he served 4 years in Washington, working on standards and food safety.
